TO REACH THE

EMPOWERING

THE ONE

NINETY-NINE

THE STORY

"Which of you, having one-hundred sheep, does not leave the ninety-nine

in pursuit of the one which is lost until he finds it?"

- Jesus Christ

With these words, Christ led us into the fringes of our society: the Oklahoma prison system. Our perspective was forever changed when we stood face to face with incarcerated individuals who were already motivated to heal, grow, and help others do the same. It became our mission to support them on their journey.

Inmate Praying With Luke 15

THE CHALLENGE

In Oklahoma, years of "tough-on-crime" policies have led to overcrowded prisons and communities burdened by lack of hope. Many justice-impacted individuals face limited access to resources essential for healing and growth, impeding their path to change. This not only impacts our prison systems, but our society as whole, given that 95% of the prison population are considered returning citizens.

In the United States, we have a one-year recidivism rate of 43%; that is to say that 43% of all returning citizens are re-arrested within one year. At Luke 15, we're committed to the reduction of this rate through Christ-centered discipleship: pursing the one to go after the ninety-nine.

MAKE AN IMPACT

VOLUNTEER INSIDE

Help us empower those on the inside by volunteering at events, connecting with leaders, and becoming a mentor

DONATE

Help us equip leaders on the inside with the necessary resources to heal, grow, and lead others to do the same.

VOLUNTEER OUTSIDE

Help us establish returning citizens with assistance in housing, transportation, mentorship, and accountability.

EMPOWER

We empower the one to reach the ninety-nine by regularly meeting with established leaders on the inside. Through supporting their leadership, we help foster healthy prison communities, ultimately providing an ideal environment for growth and healing for everyone inside and out.

EQUIP

We provide resources that are otherwise unavailable to individuals on the inside, such as education materials, college admission support, ministry resources, supplies for yard events, volunteer mentorship, communication funds, and so much more.

ESTABLISH

When returning citizens are released from prison, we help find them housing, continuing education, and employment. Most importantly, we surround them with healthy community to help foster growth and healing, so they can reintegrate and give back to society.
